Xbox 360 Updates, Streams Netflix with Friends in Party Mode [Updates]

Microsoft pushed an update to their Xbox 360 gaming consoles today, including, among other things, an excellent update to the Netflix application that allows users to browse and queue movies from their 360 as well as watch select content "with" friends. In all, the Netflix updates include: Party Watch - Catch a show with your friends!  Bring your party into Netflix and watch a movie or TV show together.  (Feature available with supported titles.) Find Content Faster - Browse through New Releases and other genre lists based on the types of shows you've previously watched, all from the comfort of your couch. Improved Playback Experience - Improvements have been made to ensure a better experience when adapting to changing network conditions. Improved Presence - Richer information is now displayed in the Friends channel and in the Guide showing what you and your friends are watching. The update brings a lot more than that (all of which you can browse on the Dashboard updates ), but the Netflix integration is the feature we're most excited about. We cover a lot of XBMC and other media center content around here, but the Xbox 360 continues to move closer to that territory, and we like that very much.
